I got my first kit at the age of 15 and started practicing in the garage, which, went down a storm with the neighbours and Rozzers!! Started playing in a Punk band, doing our own material under the moniker ‘Blind Attack’. We did a few gigs around the doors, then we we’re lucky enough to gain a support slot on a Major Accident UK Tour. The highlight being a gig at the legendary 100 Club in Oxford St. London!

Played in loads of bands since, everything from rock bands to the club scene. Then I met Gaz, our singer and guitarist, joined his band Switch doing our own material before splitting up cos the singer left to pursue his drama/directing dreams, though we did play Radio1’s Sound City in 1998 before he left

Since then I have jammed with a few people then got a call from Gaz wanting to put a band together. With Fod and myself we got a bass player Neil Gibson…he didn’t stay long…2 busy with his club band…A few months later we got Tony ‘Mahoney’ Smith to play bass and The Distractions as we know and love them today we’re up and gigging!
