He hung up.

The Castle Hotel Bishop Auckland 3rd November.

A big thanks to everyone who attended the gig. All the band were ecstatic with the turn out…so a big thanks personally from me!!!

Smithy had a great time on his 40th birthday….and managed to play with 9 pints swilling about inside him. Well done Tony for managing to stay standing.!!! Also a big thanks to Richie for the quality tunes in-between sets. Best DJ in town for me bar none! Finally a big thanks to Andy Ditchfield for wrestling with the bands sound from behind the desk…not easy for a band a shade quieter than The Who.
Best wishes
Gaz

(Thanks for the Thanks - Andy!)

25TH OCT 2006

Dont forget to check the pics out in the pic sections!

Oh football football!!….wot a pain in the pie chart…England 0 Portugal won
Work cut oot tonite???….I was wondering what to expect at the Mill in Crook:

Was it to be forlorn gadgeys twisting in the corners of the pub? or folk mingin from the sauce and wanting to make the best of a crap afternoon’s footy….we’ll see!?

Got there a little late cos of the shootout……surprisingly canny quiet on arrival.
Got set up and near enough away…..cracking away support tonight from superfan annie, Diane and Noreen (the bass things wiser half) with Moz, Adele and friends. Landlords Maggie and Watson are always really friendly and the crowd are always full of crack.
Nice to see a few Sex pistols tee shirts knocking around. Really enjoyed the first half despite our ‘slightly warm’sound engineer Andy scewiffing the sound for fods monitor apparently???…sounded alrighty to me like.

A couple of constructive requests to turn down the volume a little..much to smithys delight as he’s just shelled out for the new speaker system.

Overall a really canny night finishing on the first outing of Primal Screams Country Girl.
Forresters Arms next at Coundonia………always ragey there man……elish
